At Pearly Gates Pointers, we are passionate about raising and breeding high-quality AKC German Shorthaired Pointers. Located just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, our central location makes it easy to connect with families and hunting enthusiasts across the Southeast and beyond.

With a deep appreciation for the breed’s intelligence, athleticism, and loyal temperament, we are committed to preserving the GSP’s versatility—whether as a driven field companion or a beloved family dog. Our breeding program focuses on health, temperament, and proven bloodlines, producing well-rounded pups that thrive in active homes and working environments.

We raise our puppies in a clean, hands-on indoor heated/air conditioned environment with early socialization and exposure to everyday experiences, setting the foundation for confident, well-adjusted dogs. Whether you're looking for your next hunting partner, performance prospect, or loyal friend, we take pride in helping you find the perfect fit.

We do not offer our male for outside stud services, as maintaining the integrity of his genetics within our breeding program is priority.

    We are proud to introduce Finley, our exceptional AKC registered German Shorthaired Pointer male, who embodies the very best of the breed. With his impeccable conformation, natural hunting instincts, and outstanding temperament, he is the ideal sire for breeding high-quality, versatile pups.

  • Dam - Liver Roan

    Introducing Rue, our exceptional AKC registered German Shorthaired Pointer and the heart of our breeding program. With her stunning looks, loving personality, and impressive performance, she is everything we strive for in a top-tier GSP.

  • Dam - Black Roan

    Dolly combines the beauty of her striking roan coloration with the natural hunting instincts that make the German Shorthaired Pointer one of the most versatile breeds in the world. Her sharp nose, remarkable drive, and eagerness to please are already evident as she trains and develops her skills.

  • Future Hopeful

    Introducing Winnie, our promising liver roan AKC registered German Shorthaired Pointer who is quickly proving herself as a future gem in our breeding program. With her striking liver roan coat and outstanding potential, we are excited to see what the future holds for this young beauty.

  • Retired Dam

    Retirement has been well-deserved for our sweet girl, and she now enjoys a quieter life full of belly rubs, walks in the sunshine, and plenty of time with her family. Though she’s no longer a breeding dam, her impact on our program and the families that have welcomed her pups into their homes will always remain.

  • Dam - Liver Roan - Retired

    Ruby is the epitome of sweetness, with a gentle, loving nature that has made her an absolute joy to have around. Known for her affectionate temperament and loyalty, she’s always been the calm, steady presence in our home—whether snuggled up on the couch or out on a walk. Her bond with her family is undeniable, and her loving heart has made her a treasured companion.
